Summer Library Opportunities for Teens ages 13-18
Volunteer
You can earn volunteer credit for your school or club by helping out with the summer library program. Help us set up and clean up for programs and supervise participants.Or, join the Adopt-A-Shelf program and schedule volunteer time when it works best for you.
Information sheets and applications will be available at the Elm Grove Library May 1. Volunteers may sign up for specific assignments beginning on May 29, on a first-come basis. Applications will be accepted until all spots are filled or until June 30.

Get motivated to read all summer by signing up for the Metamorphosis teen reading program. For every 3 hours you read, you can enter to win one of the grand prizes. The more you read, the better your chances of winning!Program runs June 16-August 15.

Story contest for all ages. Prizes will be awarded to winners in different age categories and all entries will be displayed in the library. Story must be 100 words or less written on a theme. Complete rules and entry forms will be available on June 16 and stories will be due by August 15.For more information contact Sue Daniels, Youth Librarian
