June 24  Rated “PG”, 90 minutes, 2007  Barry B. Benson, a bee who just graduated from college, is disillusioned with his only job prospect, honey. When he ventures outside of the hive he breaks a cardinal rule and talks to a human, a florist named Vanessa, and is shocked to find out that humans have been stealing bees honey for centuries and decides to sue them in this animated comedy.

 

 

July 8  Rated “G”, 113 minutes, 2006  This classic story based on the beloved book by E.B. White brings us the charming tale of Fern and her young pet pig Wilbur. Just as Wilbur learns of his impending fate on the chopping block, he meets a very special spider in the barnwho begins to weave messages in her web such as “Some Pig,” “Radiant,” and “Terrific.” The messages make Wilbur famous and ultimately save his life in this story of friendship and loyalty.

 


 

 

 

July 15  Rated “PG”, 97 minutes, 2008 From the beloved best selling series of books comes this fantasy adventure about the Grave family who moves into the secluded house of their great, great Uncle Arthur Spiderwick. Once there, they begin to notice strange accidents and disappearances that seem to happen on a daily basis and they begin to uncover the fantastic truth of creatures which inhabit the Spiderwick estate.

 

July 22  Rated “PG”, 98 minutes, Based on the hugely popular Thomas Rockwell book, 11-year-old Billy accidentally challenges the school bully on the first day of school. In order to earn the respect of his new classmates, Billy accepts the cuisine-challenged dare of eating ten worms in one day.

 

 

July 29  Rated “PG”, 80 minutes. 1996 Based on a terrific children’s book written by Roald Dahl. Tells the captivating story of a young boy’s journey and his unforeseen encounters with human-sized insects and a juicy, giant peach.

 

 








August 5  Rated “PG”, 91 minutes, 2006
  Lucas is in a new city and having trouble making friends. His only enjoyment is terrorizing the ants in his back yard. When the ants take revenge and shrink him down to their size, he becomes a part of their society and learns valuable lessons about friendship, compassion, teamwork and loyalty.
