Special Programs for Fall 2011

Elm Grove Reads

Wednesday, October 19

1:00-2:00 p.m.

Kids will have the opportunity to join in this year when Elm Grove Reads looks at books about pilot Beryl Markham.  There will be a special story time where we will read "The Good Lion," a picture book about one of Markham's adventures in Africa, and do other related activities.  This story time will take place at the same time as the showing of the documentary "World without Walls:  Beryl Markham's African Memoir" which is one of the Elm Grove Reads events for adults.

Story time recommended for ages 3-5.  Please sign up in the library for this free event.
